Dems continue their War on Woman

Michael Ahrens - October 5, 2017

The 2nd highest ranking woman in Democratic House Leadership just joined a growing chorus of Democrats calling for Nancy Pelosi’s ouster.

Los Angeles Times: It's time for Nancy Pelosi and other longtime Democratic leaders to leave, California Rep. Linda Sanchez says. It was a bold declaration for a member of House leadership, especially for a member from California, and could signal that she's reflecting the views of many House Democrats.

Internal "Long Simmering And Ugly Divide"

This follows…

The Sacramento Bee: California Democrats growing tired of Nancy Pelosi. The statewide survey of California Democrats by UC Berkeley’s Institute of Governmental Studies found only 30 percent believe House Democrats should choose Pelosi to stay on as their leader should they win back the House of Representatives in 2018.

CNN: Some House Democrats say it's time for Pelosi to go.

The Kansas City Star: Kansas Democrat Paul Davis announces congressional bid, says he won’t vote for Pelosi.

McClatchy: Democrats begin to see Pelosi as a 2018 problem. In a survey of 20 Democratic House candidates, only one – a former Senate staffer from Orange County, California – would state support for [Pelosi] staying on as leader of the House Democratic Caucus. Of the rest, 18 declined to say if Pelosi should keep her job, while one, a political newcomer from a culturally conservative Ohio district, said he would vote for someone other than Pelosi.
